Damon arrived in New York City to follow an idea he had. He need to meet some more people, especially superheroes who were lost like him and a teen. He had heard stories of an old group of teen superheroes and that his predecessor use to be apart of it. He decided to take it upon himself to recreate what was lost, just had to go back to the source and follow in their footsteps.
Arriving at the Tower, he saw the abandon, dreading look it has transformed into over the years. Not knowing how to take this all in because he has seen worse, but this use to be a symbol of hope and inspiration. Now its just a standing structure that lost ghost of the past preside in. He began to walk inside, hoping that he would be able to access a computer and get some information.

Raven had stumbled upon the structure of an abandoned tower some time ago. From the surrounding people she had heard that it use to be the headquarters of a group of superheros, but that was long before her time. Still, it looked like an interesting place to explore and perhaps there would be something there that could tell her if any of them had powers like hers. She knew how to use them, but that did not mean she could not learn more or that she knew everything about them.
Inside there were many destroyed objects, some more identifiable than others. She managed to stumble on a few computers, but they seemed to be nonfunctional and she was no computer genius or anything. There had to be something around that could prove useful to her in some way, but it seemed like she was not going to be having much luck based on the first few rooms.
After a few minutes of looking around she paused and listened, having thought she heard something coming closer. Quietly she backed into the darkest shadow she could find and hid, her black clothing only helping her. Raven was ready to fight if necessary, but she would prefer not to. Hopefully the person would just wander by. She was sure he would, that was until she felt her hand bump into something on a shelf she stood against, the metal object falling to the floor with a loud clang causing her to cringe internally.

Comingto a landing, he begun to walk around the dead tower. Looking to and from for anything operational or what could be the main computer. He saw rats and other creatures had taken solace in this place. Funny how most creatures could get along if they weren't hunting each other. This was also why he didn't activate his heat sensors, there were to many around and most of them grouped together. He used his training to sense for a bigger source of stable movement.
He heard something metal crash in the next room, and put his hand on the hilt of his sword. Walking into the next room, all he saw was dark shadows but now signs of movement. He allowed his eyes to take in more light so he could see better. He didn't know that his back was to someone yet.

Raven tensed when she saw something approaching the room she was in, watching it carefully as the shadowy figure to more the form or a person in the lighter part of the room. His back was to her and she stood there uncertain for a moment. Was he going to attack her if he found her there? He had his hand on the hilt of a sword which ironically, because she was half Japanese, looked like a katana. From what little she could see he also appeared not to look quite so normal, more mechanic than anything. That made her even more tense.
She could sense caution from him, but little more than that. It did not feel like he wanted to fight, but one could never be too sure. Raven moved with care, sliding from the deepest part of the shadows, but staying close to any shadow she could as she moved around him and closer to the door. She never turned her back to him though and kept her hands ready to attack or defend should she need to. Hopefully he would not notice her and she could escape with little trouble. After all, she probably was not even suppose to be here anyway.

Damon looked around and was curious as to where the sound came from. He switched to infrared and began to follow the trails of unsettled dust. He didn't know what to expect but knew it wasnt a threat or it would have attacked by now. He then realized it could be someone that has info. He calmed, himself and stood up straight taking his hand off of his katana. He switched of the infrared vision and just stood completely still for a minute.
"Im not looking to harm you, but I am hoping that you may be able to answer some questions about this place and its history to me. Come out of the shadows so we can talk." He waited for the stranger to show themselves. He hoped this person knew more of the old tenants. He was also curious as to why they would be here. Did they have a link to the past here also? If so then they could search together.

Raven paused in her steps as she heard him speak, still tense. She seemed thoughtful for a moment, wondering if she should really sit here and have a conversation with this person. Of course, there was little point in sneaking out now, he knew she was there though he was not forcing her to come out from the shadows. He also had not attacked her when he had discovered her so she took that as a good sign. Looking at him she could tell that he did not seem interested in harming her, just as he said. This made her relax a little, but not much considering she still did not know who he was or anything about him.
After a bit more considering she decided that it would probably work out better to just see what he wanted. Raven straightened up her posture, looking a bit more confident than she actually felt, before leaving the safety of her shadowy guard. "I don't know much of this place," she said, her tone naturally quiet, "only that a group of people with powers used this place a long time ago to fight for the justice.." Perhaps he would leave her alone since she did not have any real information, he did look like he could be dangerous if upset or angered.

Damon turned his head towards her, when she came out and spoke. He didn't feel like she was a threat, but most assassins were trained to give off that image. He felt like she was holding back, but he didnt want to be forceful and pry the information out of her. He was still getting use to actually having a full on conversation with people. He could also tell this one wasnt scared of his appearance, he was pleased by that.
He sighed to himself cause he felt awkward introducing himself. Turning fully around and faced her and extended his hand."Well, my names Damon. I was modeled after one of the people who use to work out of here. Do you know anything about Cyborg?" He was hoping that he would finally get some more information about his predecessor. Also, he was curious still as to why she was here. "May I ask you what are you doing in this place?"

His appearance did seem very odd, if she had to put a word to it. She was not bothered so much perhaps because she had already met a talking cat, but there was an underlying calmness that she could feel within her that always seemed to be there when she should be practically panicking and running off like a normal person. "Not so much about him, no," she said with a slight shrug, "if you could get one of the computers working it might tell you something. You can call me Raven."
Though she had dubbed herself Raven it had not actually been because of the super powered girl that had once resided here, she had actually only realized that later. It was because it was the shape of a raven which the energy she could project herself in took. "I had figured that I could probably find some useful information here," she said, looking around slightly, "but I don't think I could get the computers to work on my own.." From what she heard the first Raven actually had similar powers to her, so she was the one that she wanted information on. Perhaps she could find out where her powers came from.

Realizing they were basically there for the same reason, Damon didn't think it would be wrong to have help. He knew if he could get access to the main computer that he could reboot it. They always stayed on a separate generator. Maybe she knew where it was? If not then it would be faster if the both started searching for it. He began looking down the next corridor.
"If we can find the main computer then I could be able to boot it up. Do you know the lay out of building?" He was feeling pretty good about meeting more and more people at this point and his social skills were becoming better. Not being the silent guy he was before and more inclined to talk. He was actually hoping this would work out for the best too.

Raven seemed to examine whatever she could see of the building at the moment upon his question. "I'll suppose the main computer will probably be the largest and most complex computer in this place," she said, more to herself, "I don't know the building but there is a way I can find out quickly enough.." She looked over to Damon for a moment, seeming to study him. She could sense that she could trust him, at least in this task. "Just make sure nothing happens.."
After that Raven sat down on the ground, legs crossed, and began to focus. After a moment a shadowy energy seeped out of her and formed into a raven shape, flying off down the corridor. She could see through its eyes, passing by many rooms and a few levels, deciding to go down to the underground of the tower instead of up. After a time the raven appeared in front of a large set of metal doors, closed tightly into each other. She slipped through the metal seem going down the middle, the doors probably capable of automatically opening if they still worked. Inside she could see large sets of computers and several large screens. The room did not appear damaged, only worn with time. She had to suppose that this was it and, if not, it would be somewhere close by.
It took a moment but she recalled the energy to her body, inhaling deeply as she seemed to awaken from her state. "There's a large room with computers on the lower level," she said as she stood up, "it seems like the most likely place or at least a good starting point.." Raven looked over to him after dusting herself off a little. "We should be able to get to a way down through this corridor," she said as she gestured deeper into the building.

Damon took a step back, as she sat on the ground as if she were about to meditate. He tilted his head as he looked upon her. Then a dark energy came out of her taking the shape of what looked like a bird. He eyed it seeing what it was and where it was going. Then it sped away out of his view and into the darkness. He was impressed with this kind of power, and energy manifestation of oneself.
It only took her a few minutes the, she had inhaled greatly. Tilting his head, he just watch as she talked and stood up. Nodding his head it was like he had thought, at the bottom where the generators would also be and the safest location for it. "Well lead the way." He followed her since it seemed like she just found a way through the building. "So are you from here?"

Raven nodded and started walking deeper into the tower, passing through the darkness of the corridor without too much worry or confusion. After a couple minutes of making her way through the darkness of the place she was able to see the elevator shaft that she had flown down as energy. From the state of the tower she knew the elevator would probably not work properly if at all, though she did not see any sign of stairs either. "I can try to get the elevator up here, unless you can see the stairs anywhere here," she said looking around a bit.
Holding her had in front of the elevator doors she felt her energy move out to pry them open. Once that was done she looked down the shaft, knowing that was where the elevator lay in wait for her to attempt to raise it if needed. It might take a bit of energy to hold up something so big though and then with the added weight of both of them it would probably make it a little harder. "It should be down there somewhere," she said as she examined the large cord which would ordinarily lift the elevator.

Damon walks over and looks down the shaft. It was completely dark and dusty. He couldnt see exactly where the elevator was. He listened as she explained that she could possibly bring the elevator up to them, but that would take time. Shaking his head, Damon was always about working smarter and not harder. So he flexed his hand to make sure that it was ready for what he had planned.
"I have a better idea, if you dont mind?" He took hold of her and jumped into the shaft, grabbing the tethered rope. He gripped the rope as the slid down it, is hand heating up but not hurting him. He began to slow there descent as the elevator came into view. He let go of the rope when they werent that far above it. Releasing Raven, he looked at her. "Are you hurt?"

Raven was caught by surprise when he grabbed her, but as he jumped into the shaft she found herself clinging to him as she watched them descend down into the darkness. This probably would have been so much easier if she could fly, but she was still working on that and was nowhere near having it perfected. She could feel them slowing down and she looked down to see the elevator getting closer until they landed right on top of it. She felt him release her shortly after that. "I'm fine," she said, regaining her composure of getting suddenly grabbed and the quick decent they just had.
Once she was back on track she looked around the top of the elevator, kneeling down when she found the hatch to the emergency escape, opening it and jumping inside. Once inside she used her powers to open the elevator doors, looking around at where they now were. "It should be around here somewhere," she said as she continued down the corridor to the right. Raven passed by a few doors before she spotted the big ones she had seen. "This should be it." As she tried to pry the doors open with her powers she felt resistance before suddenly she could see red emergency lights flashing throughout the hallway. "That could be bad," she said quietly.

Damon lowered himself into the elevator, as she opened the doors. He followed her still as she lead the way. Through the corridors and around corners. Soon coming up on giant metal doors. He stared at them as Raven tried to pry them open. Thats when the flashing red lights came, and he knew that this wouldnt be good. He placed himself between her and the rest of the hallway. Hand on the hilt of his sword, he was ready to make a quick draw and slice through what ever was coming.
"Hope your powers can be use for offensive uses too." He saw as the first turrent dropped down from the ceiling and another rising from the floor. Not trying to leave no angle open. Before they could even aim, he jumped on the closest one and drew his sword slicing the one in the roof in half. Drawing out his gun and shot the one under him with an electromagnetic shell, crushing the turret and dent the floor.
