Supergirl had been so sure that she would be faster than him. She had never met anyone who could move as quickly as he did before, but she was sure that her eyes hadn't deceived her. He had in fact gone ahead of her and landed in the very clearing that she was on her way to. It somewhat dampened her spirits to see that he was faster than her, but she could at least reason that maybe it was simply because he was older than she was.
In any case, she made her way to the clearing to and landed on the ground in front of him. She didn't know just what to say yet. Only one thing came to mind.
"Aww... You beat me."

"I'll Always be Around......"
Smiling slightly, he simply shrugged his shoulders as he looked around for a moment. This area seemed empty enough. There wasn't too many signs of life within it, and it was mostly wild animals that were now moving further into the forest. This would be a better place than any for them to do what they wished, without anyone getting hurt. Of course,Max was still trying to figure out just what it was that she wanted out o this encountered. If anything, it all seemed to be tests or games to Super girl. While there was likely a meaning behind them, he had yet to figure it out...at least not completely.
"Barely.....You had a pretty good head start over me. Especially with you moving that fast..."
Crossing his arms over his chest, Superman continued to look at her with a friendly smile. He wouldn't say it, but he was enjoying himself. This would be the first time he actually felt comfortable going at full power. Of course, he was still skeptical about unleashing all of his strength, not when he wasn't completely sure about her own limits. Either way, it was likely either of them were going to leave here without knowing something about the other.
"So whats next on your list of tests? Since I'm getting the feeling that's the reason for most of these activities..."

"You don't have to worry about anyone seeing your 'domestic violence' here," she teased him. She had quickly gotten over him beating her already, even though his insinuation that she had cheated and still lost hadn't made her feel any better. In any case, she bent over as she had done before and pointed at her cheek.
"C'mon, I know you want to. I've been a naughty girl," she was halfway joking, thoguh she had been naughty in sucker punching him earlier. She was sure he'd want to punch back, and she wanted to find out the limit of her endurance as well. Still, it was very possible that his morals were too strong to hit a girl. Too bad if that was the case.

"I'll Always be Around......"
"Hmph....Cute..."
Smirking as he listened her, Max couldn't help but wonder why she seemed so keen on this? Perhaps this was more than just her testing him, maybe Super Girl was testing herself as well? How often was it when you found someone who could match you in strength and durability? It was indeed a rare find. Still, he found himself hesitant in hitting a girl. Childish as it was, it wasn't as though she had done anything really destructive towards him. Sure, she had hit him, but it was like he was hurting because of it.
Reeling his fist back, he braced himself upon the ground as the hero sent his fist swiftly towards her face. He didn't hold back either. Max put every ounce of power within him, every bit of energy into that one strike. He wasn't sure what would happen because of it, though he was certain that he'd feel terrible about it in the end.

Okay. So maybe in the face wasn't such a good idea. In fact, even though she was entreating him to hit her, she hadn't quite been ready for it, especially not at that speed. He seemed to hesitant to hit her, so how sudden it was had taken her by surprise. In addition to that, his punch was MUCH stronger than she had thought it could possibly be. She was sent flying back and throught bushes and trees. Many of them were knocked over as she flew. Until finally she came to a halt about a quarter of a mile away.
"Ow..." She sat up. Now that had hurt. Her cheek was already puffed up. It was possible she'd have a bruise left right there. In any case, she rubbed her cheek as she sat up and finally worked her way to her feet. Nonetheless, she was still somewhat interested in the pain. It was her first time, after all.
"That was pretty good," she congratulated him while still rubbing her cheek.

"I'll Always be Around......"
Watching as she flew backwards through the woods, Superman just stared in complete shock as he saw tree tops tip over and call in the direction that she was thrown. Could he really have done this? Whats more, could he really have just hit a girl at full strength? Either way, he wasn't too pleased with himself, flying after her as he arrived at her landing spot. Walking towards her, he shook his head as she congratulated him on the punch. Not that really cared about that, he was more worried about her.
"Are you alright?"
Looking at her face, he could see that it was turning red. Within moments he disappeared and then reappeared with a ice pack.
"Here..This should help with the swelling..."

"It's okay... I'm fine," Supergirl told him. She was refusing to take the ice pack. She knew the wound would heal eventually anyway, and her bravado was much too strong to allow for her to take his pity. Besides, she wasn't finished yet anyway. She wasn't going to fight him or anything, but still, she didn't want an ice pack getting in the way of whatever she wanted to do or to occupy her hands.
"So, what's your name anyway?" she asked him curiously.

"I'll Always be Around......"
Seeing as she wasn't going to take the pack, he placed it upon a nearby stump as he looked at her with a blank expression. His name? Well, that was a good question. What name was he going to go by here? There was no way he was going to tell her that his name was Maxwell Kent for obvious reasons. Though what name would he give her? After all, going by Superman all the time did get to be somewhat old. Still, could he actually trust her enough to tell her?
"I'm guessing we're now back to just conversation then?"
Sitting down on the ground, he looked at her as he smiled slightly. He was alluding the question of course, mostly because he wasn't sure as to what to tell her. At least, not yet.
"Mar-El........ and yours?"

"Mar-L?"
That was funny. He had to know that wasn't what she meant. She wanted to know his real name, not his Kryptonian name, if he was even a Kryptonian. Yeah, she wouldn't fall for that. She wasn't going to accept that as his name so long as they were on Earth, and if he wasn't going to give her his real name, she had other ways of finding out who he really was. She did have X-ray vision and eagle-sight, or actually even much better than that.
"I meant your real name," she added skeptically.

"I'll Always be Around......"
"Actually that is my real....Mostly. If your actually expecting me to trust you with that kind of information in one day, you need to trust me as well...."
Rising up off the ground, Max leaned up against the back of a tree as he looked towards the sky. It had been an interesting day indeed. Though pretty soon, he would have to return to work. After all, he had a job to do.
"So how about this? A name for a name?"

"I am Alexandra Labelle, the genetic child of Superman," she answered him rather proudly. She wasn't going to go much more in depth than what she had already said concerning who she was or where she got her powers from. That was enough for now. She crossed her arms and looked down at him.
"So then, what is your name?" She asked him curiously.

"I'll Always be Around......"
The Genetic Child of Superman? Max wasn't sure if his face showed his surprise or not. Though he was aware that his left brow had been raised. Did that mean that she carried around Superman's DNA? If so, where did she get it ? Yet now wasn't likely the time to ask, at least not yet. So what did he do from here? The two of them had an agreement, a name for a name.
"Maxwell Kent........"
A smirk on his face showed he was fine with the name. It was a normal one, a lot more than his other name. Of course, that would just simply be what he used from now on as Super man. It just fit.
"What do you mean by genetic?"

"Well, you see... The term 'genetic' refers to genes, which are a linear sequence of nucleotides along a segment of dna that provides the coded instructions for synthesis of RNA, which, when translated into protein, leads to the expression of hereditary character," she explained to him. She crossed her arms. Hopefully that would explain it well enough for him. She wasn't going to go much more in depth. She was a scientist, yes, but she wasn't his teacher.
"Yep."

"I'll Always be Around......" "That....wasn't what I meant...."
Smirking as he shook his head, Superman then gestured his hand towards Supergirl as he continued to speak.
"I was referring to you....How exactly are you a genetic child of the original Superman? Are you a clone? His daughter?"
It would be interesting to hear that he had a sister out there. Course that would then mean that there was more to the man than he had thought. Not only was he a hero, but a bastard. Though he did have some doubts on that assumption. After all, his mother described him as an honest man. Someone who really didn't do anything bad unless forced.

"I look like a clone to you?" she gesticulated toward her body and torso. It seemed to be a grossly ridiculous assumption to her. If she were a clone, that would have been quite some Superman. She giggled at that notion. Though she soon shook it off. Slowly but surely, she started levitating into the air just a bit. Her wounds had already started to heal just a little bit.
"Hrmm... Maybe I am his daughter," she said to him rather playfully. She stuck her tongue out just a bit. "Who knows?"
