Slowly rolling over as he groaned as she spoke. "...mmm..." Slowly looking at the clock as he sighed. "...You're telling me..." Slowly sitting up, he however was just in his tight's as he slowly stood up. His shoulder had luckly closed up a bit so it felt a bit better putting his normal top on as he walked toward's her gently kissing her neck as he smirked. "I Have to say, You have a good pain management course... " He chuckled gently looking down at his hand. "You woulden't happen to have any wonder drug's to fix my hand eh?" He softly smiled looking at her reflection.
Looking around, Jeeze - He had not expected that whole event to take so much out of him. Looking around the room at certain place's before he yawned and stretched out a bit, then stretched his leg's a little. "Ahhh... That's right - you got the whole night gig" He winked a bit.

"Yep. That whole night gig."
Hearing him say it so casually was actually worried her just a bit. She didn't like the fact that someone knew her secret identity. Unfortunately, he had found it out on his own and there was really nothing that she could do about it anymore. It was in the past and she couldn't take it away. Still, she was determined not to take him to the batcave. Even at this point, she didn't know that he had seen it before yet... though she did have some suspicions.
"At night, one can work in secrecy and merge into the darkness... or something like that," Emily told him as she continued to stroke her hair with the comb. She hadn't gotten the quote entirely correct, but it was close enough to something that her father had told her before. In all honesty, she wasn't nearly as skilled as the Robins before her and she knew it. Still, she was pretty damn good, and she enjoyed being Robin more than almost anything else.

"And that must be the batman quote..." He laughed as he sat down on the foot of the bed yawning once more. Watching her brush her hair "So..." he swallowed nervously. "Would you like any...help tonight? If not I understand" he said the last quickly. He wouldn't take it offensively if she preferred solo. Heck, Even he kinda liked the solo gig no one to really watch out for but...now - he could say a bit his priority shifted.
As he tilted his head a little. "...Erm, I never did ask this" he cleared his throat just a bit. "How old are you anyways?" He asked oddly, realizing that maybe they went a bit fast... But hey, He was the flash so nothing was to fast. He would have preferred to know just a little bit about the person he was going out with now after all.

Robin had never really done the solo thing until very recently. Actually, she had only done it twice now, and ultimetely she preferred to go on her missions with Batman. She couldn't say how many times by now she probably would have died if he hadn't been there to have her back covered. She smiled at his offer.
"I guess a little help for one night couldn't hurt... Just til Batman can go with me," she told him. She didn't want to say whom Batman was, as she didn't know what Tim would prefer or how he'd want to go about it. As for now, she'd simply call him Batman.
"I'm thirteen."

"Ah, then I shall go with you tonight then!" He smiled a bit, it would be nice to try the whole partner thing after all - well, he woulden't be as awesomely amazing as he normally is thank's to his hand but hey, He was the dang Flash.
However, the answer to his question caused his eye's to go a bit wider. "A-ah..." rubbing his cheek's - a three year age difference... God, not to mention what happened... He forced himself to smile. "...Sixteen here" blushing slightly. "Well, let's waste no time! No doubt someone's getting mugged...or something" He quickly changed the subject. Standing up and stretching out wincing every time his shoulder moved a bit to far.

Thirteen days, twelve hours, forty eight minutes...
That was how long Timothy had gone without being able to sleep, not even catching his usual fifteen minutes a day that he was so fond of. He and Nightwing had been forced to stay vigilante during their excursion into the underbelly of society. Never letting their guard down, never leaving the shadows unless they needed to. It was a living hell and Tim hadn't minded it in the least. That was what he had signed up for when he had decided to put on the cape, when his father had become to old and decrepit to wear it anymore. It had taken it's toll on him mentally and psychologically though. He was exhausted and refusal to be seen as weak kept him from collapsing as he arrived at his home. He entered through the Batcave, using one of it's many secret entrances and stripped himself out of the dirty and sordid costume that he had been forced to wear for almost two weeks. The last few steps towards his room had been the hardest he had taken since he had left. He hadn't even made it under the covers before he collapsed upon his bed, dressed only in a pair of pajama pants with Robin-esque R's emblazoned on them.
For six hours he slept in a state akin to unconsciousness. It wasn't until the sound of the manor's large double doors were thrown open and then slammed shut that he awoke. Tim awoke, slowly, his mind quickly recognizing where he was and that he was in no danger. "Emily," he said with a soft sigh as he pushed himself up out of his bed. He yawned, running his hands through his black hair, ruffling it even more. He sat on the edge of his large king sized bed, listening once he noticed that there was another set of footsteps following behind Emily's. They were heavier, most likely male. He sat silently as he listened to them speak. The inhabitants of Wayne Manor lived in the same wing. Tim liked to keep everyone close in case of emergencies. Emily's room was only two down from his. Twenty minutes or so passed as they talked. From what Tim could gather through the thick walls a lot had happened since he had went off. "So... She got found out." he said softly, "And found another hero." he said as he clasped his hands together.
He would have to talk to her about that. He pushed himself up when he heard silence seemingly take over the house. It didn't last too long though, much to Tim's discomfort. Tim turned towards the room that Emily was given and stared for several moments. He opened his mouth to say something, but then stopped. He sighed and simply left his room, but not before throwing on a worn out sweater that read Gotham University. He walked, making absolutely no sound, a bad habit of his, towards his office. He sat there, in it's soundproofed environment, and began to catch up with the work he had fallen behind on. Four hours later, he was finished, completing two weeks of work within a hand full of time. He was rather proud of himself, though he had to give the fact that he wanted a distraction consideration. Any other time he would still be buried neck deep in bureaucracy and paperwork.
Tim opened up the door of his office and was pleased to hear the sounds of chatter. He slunk back into his room and applied his make up to his face, hiding it's distinguishing scars, and put in a pair of contacts to hide his ruby eyes. He blinked rapidly to adjust them before being content with his appearance. He ruffled his hair and made his clothing appear more disheveled, as if he had just woken up. A lazy smile appeared on his face as he walked down the hallway and lightly opened the door, making no sound whatsoever to warn the inhabitants. "Knock knock," he said as he leaned against the doorway, adopting a surprise appearance he spotted a young man garbed in yellow spandex and Emily in her school uniform. "... I miss something?" he asked, his face knitting into a scowl.

Emily was taken by shock as the door opened. She had been thinking all of this time that tim had been gone. Honestly, what had he been doing here? She had thought he'd be gone with her father for at least two weeks... well, actually, it was almost two weeks now that she thought about it. She quickly turned to face him at the door.
"Miss something?... No," she wasn't lying. Anything that he had missed, he probably didn't want to know about anyway. In any case, he was just getting here. They could probably play it off pretty easily.
"Christopher got hurt and I was fixing up his arm. That's all," she explained half-heartedly.

Now, Chris had good hearing - After all he learned much by how people talked and what they said however - The one thing he did not hear, was the door handle turn, he didn't even hear or see the door swing open. Hearing a older man's voice as his heart sank and he slightly jumped not to a huge extent but enough to show he was taken aback - Looking back at Robin as she explained. His heart sunk as Chris heard her speak his name. Slightly rubbing his cheek. "Yea..."
He nodded quickly, Trying to formulate a good plan to explain. "We were at the Aquarium when some crazy guy was spinning around a spear or something, shattered all the glass." He pointed to his shoulder and hand. "And needless to say, the idiot didn't even leave his insurance card - Luckily Emily was there quite the medic." He said the first part sarcastically, It was indeed the truth...but just a alteration. He left big part's out for the Man to figure out, Knowing that if he painted a perfect picture it would be to suspicious. Looking nervously as he rubbed his arm gently. "I'm sorry if I'm intruding - I Wouldn't know what I would have done without Emily here" He said while giving her a compliment he also said it to her father or at least who he thought was her father. Okay, now he caught the bad thing - If he was indeed at the site of a accident usually you could stay for medic's but, he always had the defense that she helped him right after and just go on from there. Now the biggest thing was the costume - He could hardly explain it but he could easily say it was some sorta awkward teen party thing...or something who knows. He didn't know how smart the guy was, the guy could be a complete idiot and not even ask anything after he explained everything... At least he hoped. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Tim couldn't blame them for not hearing him. After all, he was a man who was highly skilled in the art of ninjutsu and regularly sneaked up on metahumans. Besides, he had made sure not to make a sound when he crept up on the two, He didn't want to give them a chance to get away. He considered it his little revenge fro them chasing him out of his nice warm bed and into his office. His scowl vanished and was replaced by a crooked smile as he pushed himself off of the door frame. "Well then," he said, catching a hint of the musky smell in the room. He wrinkled his nose before faking a sneeze. "Excuse me." he said as he sniffled and rubbed his nose. "Sorry, I think I'm coming down with a cold." he quickly tacked on, explaining his little fit. He was sure that Emily would be able to pick up on his unique brand of sarcasm. He cast her a wry smile before continuing with what he had originally intended to say.
"I'm glad that my niece was there to help patch you up. Though, I'm wondering why you two didn't just go to the hospital." he said as he shoved his hands into the confines of his sweatshirt's pocket. "I'm sure the hospital would have understood if you hadn't gotten the man's card." he said, going along with the boy's joke. He tucked away the bit about them running into a man with a spear at the aquarium. He would have to talk to Emily about that a little later. Once he got the boy out of his house. "Either way, you aren't intruding. Quite the opposite. It's nice to see Emily bring someone home for a change." He was honest about being happy that she had finally made some friends. As for what they had been up to... that was another matter for them to discuss at another time.
Christopher, so that was the boy's name. "It's nice to meet you, Christopher. My name's Tim, Tim Wayne. I'm Emily's uncle." he said, hoping to dissipate the tension in the room. Sure, he had just walking in after their little adventure and sure, Emily was going to get some sort of speech, but that didn't mean that they couldn't enjoy their remaining time together before Tim had to force the two to part. He remembered what it was like to be young and in love. The mere notion of his past made him think back and his eyes drifted toward Christopher.
He looked at the boy's costume and felt a pang of sorrow stab into his gut. Impulse... The boy's costume looked exactly like his late friends. He didn't allow it to show on his face though. He simply shrugged and figured he would help them out with their story by acting the fool. After all, right now he was Timothy Wayne, wealthy and bumbling philanthropist . Not Tim Drake, the world's greatest detective. "So what's with the getup? Was there some sort of Flash Mob at the aquarium or something?" That excuse would essentially cover all of their bases. Flash mobs weren't taken too kindly in Gotham and were usually dealt with by the police, which would explain why they weren't able to get any medical attention from the medics, and why he was wearing the costume. It was odd, but it was a logical explanation for an illogical turn of events.

Emily was glad that Tim seemed to buy their story. Under the assumption that he had just gotten home, it was quite possible that he didn't know what was going on. If she was wrong in this assumption, however, it was certain that he knew what had happened. In any case, she decided it would just be best in this situation to keep quiet and pretend that she was so busy doing her hair that her attention was away from participating in their little conversation.
Emily's greatest fear was that she would say something wrong which would make things worse or screw their story up. Emily knew she wasn't as smart as Tim, nor was she as intelligent as any of the Robin's before her. Her strengths came in her acrobatics. With those, she was even better than her father. As for tricking Tim though, it wasn't likely. In addition to that, she wasn't sure how much Chris was okay with letting her Uncle know. She didn't wish to give away too much information, especially if Tim didn't yet realize that Chris was the new Flash. Until yesterday, Emily hadn't even heard that there was a new Flash, so it was possible Tim wouldn't have heard about him either.
"Yeeep.." Emily accidentally spoke under her breath.

Part of him was hoping that Emily would chime in with something to end his... question's however she was just as silent. As he rubbed the back of his head nervously as the man asked why he didn't go to the hospital. "A-ah...y-you know, she was there...and all"
He looked a bit nervous now as Tim continued on his assault. "a-Ah, thank you..., Sir" He said quickly, it was awkward...especially what happened just a few short hour's ago in this very room. "It's -" He went on and blinked looking at both him and Emily now. "....I-I-It's really a pleasure to meet you Mr. Wayne...." okay, He wasn't from Gotham - But even he knew that name... This was the man behind Wayne Enterprises everyone knew him. Now, he was officially dead. If this man found out what happened just a few short hour's ago he would be killed - Not like the man couldn't afford assassin's... Although being Emily's Uncle if he was anything alike he wouldn't do anything as evil but who knows. His heart was pounding harder. This man was behind some of the world's most advanced tech - He should know the place helped pay for his college. As he started about a flash mob, he nearly wanted to laugh but he kept his lip's sealed. "U-Um.." He stumbled, acting like it was the truth as he rubbed the back of his head. "...I...really don't remember much, ya'kno - What was happening it was so fast and all...It's just a blur" He said after a short pause as if to try to think of what was happening - everything about it seemed genuine but if the person he was talking to was use to such Lie's it would be slightly easy to see though, It would be a good act as a guilty person would never say 'Yea it was fun as hell!' He would pretend either memory loss or just say just a visitor or something simple like that. He had to hope he fooled the man, after all - It would be quite the bragging right later to say he fooled Timothy Wayne. Slowly standing up as he winced "Maybe I should take my Que and leave haha.... Thank you so much for helping me, Emily - I wish I could pay you back somehow..." He bowed his head to the girl, Looking to Timothy. "A-And It was nice meeting you, Sir. " He quickly offered him a handshake with his only good hand, as the other trembling one held his mask behind his back tightly - Emily was an exception... He didn't want anyone else to know. Hiding his mask in his broken and bloody hand was not very intelligent as the pain was very bad but he kept it hidden. Looking to Emily as he nodded "Thank you again." [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Tim simply nodded as the boy went along with the explanation. It was a fairly good, if not obscure. He doubted that either he or Emily knew that Tim had the slightest clue what a flash mob was. "No, no, the pleasure is all mine, Christopher." he said in a cheerful tone as he gave the boy a slight nod. He seemed honest enough, despite the fact that he was currently lying his face off to Tim. He couldn't hold it against him though, he had been in a similar situation in his youth as well. Not that he would tell that to either of them. He watched as the boy got up, wincing in pain with every movement. Tim wondered if he had gotten enough treatment. From the looks of the bandages Emily had done her best to treat him. The boy would learn to be able to treat himself once time went on. Such was the trial of being a lone hero.
When he offered his hand to him Tim took it in his and gave it a firm shake. "Are you sure you wouldn't like a ride home? I could get one of the staff to take you or better yet me and Emily could drop you off." he asked, despite the lies and fabrications he had been spouting this offer was sincere. He didn't want to see the boy walk home in his condition or run, he glanced at his costume and pushed back another pang. "Besides, it's awfully late. I'd hate to hear any rumors floating about how Timothy Wayne let an injured sixteen year old walk home in the middle of the night, in Gotham no less."

He smiled a bit as he shook the man's hand however, got nervous about his next offer. How could he tell the man he lived far away? It was one thing to say he lived down town but he lived in Metropolis. Which was to say at LEAST a 6 hour drive. But to him it was... a 3-5 min run. Scratching his cheek. "I...R-really don't think that would be a good idea... I live in a pretty bad place and.... I could not live with myself if I Put either Emily or yourself in harm's way... Especially after how you both have been so kind to me."
He smiled a bit looking at her. "Trust me, No one will know I was even here..." He said honestly, It wasen't like anyone could even catch him on camera...well, Unless they were using some fancy tech since he didn't like to go out in such a speed that could shatter window's. Although, Crossing water - Fun as hell. Walking closer to the door looking back to Emily. "Well, I hope to see you again - Emily" He smiled a bit, He coulden't help it... He wanted to just go right back to kissing him but also did not like the thought of what the man might do to him if he tried such a move. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Emily was doing her best to stay out of this well enough that she wouldn't give any hints. Her biggest fear however was that in choosing this action, he would grow even more suspicious. She really didn't think that there was much she could say. Of course, she could act like they were just normal friends... but in all honesty, she hadn't really had any normal friends before. That made things feel suspicious enough. At the very least, she had a feeling Tim might figure out that he was the Flash.
Still, Emily listened to Chris speak, and doing so made her realize that she actually didn't even have any idea where he lived. Bad side of town? Perhaps. But she had absolutely no idea whatsoever, and she couldn't ask now. They were sort of rushing his departure in any case.
"Umm... Bye... See you.... soon?" Emily said, now finally putting the comb down, turning around, and waving goodbye. In all honesty, she wasn't sure when she'd see him again. Hopefully she would.

"Alright then," Tim said as the boy refused his offer. "Just be careful. It's rough out there." he said as his eyes traveled towards the window in Emily's room. It was late, almost ten at night. It was almost time for him to go on patrol and he hadn't even gotten ten hours of sleep. it was enough to make him want to groan, but he contained himself. He looked between Emily and Christopher as they exchanged a quiet goodbye. Even without being the world's greatest detective Tim could have read what was on the boy's mind. It was written all over his face. Before they could make any real "googly eyes" Tim interjected. "Oh, I'm sure that she'll see you again. I'll make sure you find your way back here. It's nice having another man in the house whose at least somewhat close to my age." he said, half jokingly. The only other men in the manor were James and Bruce and Tim rarely saw either of them. Bruce was often locked away in his room and James... he was always off somewhere.
"Anyway, it's getting late and some people have school tomorrow." he said as he shoved his hands back into the confines of his sweatshirts pocket. He cast his gaze back towards Emily who had finished fixing her hair. He had so much to talk to her about. Being found out, the aquarium, discovering another hero's identity, what she did with said hero. Tim could tell that he was going to have to brood for awhile and mull over everything. He could solve almost everything on the list, save for the last one. "You're welcome to come by whenever you like Christopher. So long as there's someone around." he said, he wasn't sure why he added the last part. He chalked it up to playing the part of the protective fatherly role he had taken with Emily. He made a gesture towards the staircase that led toward the large double doors that would lead him out of the manor.
He did so as politely as he could, making it seem as if he was simply a concerned parent who wanted their child to get into bed. Not a mentor ready to pass on sagely advice and give a lecture. As soon as he heard the boy leave the house he walked forward and double checked before returning to Emily's room. "Well," he began, crossing his arms over his chest. "He seems nice." he said with a wry smile, his nose crinkling at the lingering scent of sweat. "Would you care to explain why our speedy little friend there was so beat up?" he asked, releasing the first of the onslaught of questions he had stored in his mind. It was pretty easy to figure out who the boy was. The costume he wore was built in exactly the same manner as Impulse's had be. Built to protect against the forces of speed and it had been much to elaborate to be a costume picked up at a store. There was that and the whole conversation Tim had over heard about secret identities that had shined some light on Emily's own circumstances.
