As the man mentioned mentioning the costume's, It was quite easy to spot that it caused Flash's head to raise up - being proud of it until he mentioned the new Flash as he sighed. "I guess you could say I am the new one... I would prefer the improved one though"
He grinned chesirely at the man as he went on introducing himself. "Cold...Captain....Rogue? Crappy name dude, you really need to work on it clearly." Not really paying attention one bit as the Cold Captain introduced himself. He said crossing his arm's. It wasn't until Robin said something about the cold that he realized that their was frost coming from his mouth. Looking at his arm's as he shot out a blast of cold, Flash in a blur pushed Robin out of the way of the blast and side stepped it himself - God...it was so cold... He needed to make this suit heated now that he thought of it. Turning around as he smirked. "You really aren't that smart are you..." Blurring around the man now as the temperature started to warm up and quick. Just then he launched from the circle right toward the man's front - aiming a blow to his solar plexus that would knock the wind out of him. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

"Dude, seriously?" Cold demanded in disbelief. He narrowed his cold, blue eyes in utter disgust. His hand formed a fist which he shook angrily at young man that suddenly found himself in the role of his archnemesis. He briefly wondered if the guy was just playing dumb to screw with his head or something. Surely, he wouldn't have taken on that legacy without learning about those who had come before him. Plus, it stung just a little to have his big unveiling as a villain to a super-hero fall so flat. He practically snarled, "I took my name from Captain Cold. Y'know one of the greatest enemies of the original three Flashes that came before you?!"Any further indignation was cut rather short as his nemesis suddenly blurred around and knocked the wind right out of him. Danny gave a loud grunt as the air burst from his lips and he doubled over and coughed a few times as he struggled to get his breath back. He had thought he'd be totally ready for super-speed but honestly there was no way to truly do that until you had seen it. It seemed impossible for anyone to move like that without plastering themselves across the pavement or end up wrapped like a pretzel around a tree. "Cripes," Cold wheezed loudly as he sucked in air. He clutched at his chest a moment as his lungs went back into action. "...I...gotta a..admit, you are pretty...fast."Suddenly a broad, wicked smile flashed across his lips and his chilly eyes sparkled with excitement. "Let's do something about that." He said suddenly, thrusting out a hand with his fingers bent like claws. He swiped it through the air as though he was pushing aside some invisible curtain. In reality, he was using a technique he had read about in regards to Captain Cold's fights with the Flash. Creating a 'cold field' created a section of space that cooled and thickened the molecules in the very air. To a normal person, it meant an barrier of extreme cold that made frost out of the very moisture of their skin if they passed through it. For a speedster, on the other hand, it made the air suddenly feel like icy molasses. Running through it would bog the speedster down enough to make him an easier target or even stop him in his tracks if he wasn't careful. "You hit like a girl scout, fleet-feet. Why don't you try a little harder this time?" Cold taunted by way of challenge.

By luck, Robin had avoided that blast, though it was primarily due to Flash. He had pushed her out of the way just in time, unfortunately, however, he hadn't caught her or helped her down safely. She landed on her back and rolled about just a bit before coming to a stop. She was so cold, she definitely wished she had dressed a bit more for this.
Slowly, she made it back onto her feet. This was going to have to be Flash's battle. She knew that now, but she still needed to figure out how to help. Maybe she needed to get a distance so that she wouldn't be frozen to death. Feeling her composure returning to her, she did a few backflips to get some extra distance between herself and Cold.

"You should have taken your name from Captain Obvious"
He said very corny like normal. He softly smiled as he tilted his head. He rubbed his chin as he smirked. As the man changed his tune when he mentioned doing something about his speed he softly laughed. "And what are you going to d-" Feeling the cold air almost instantly as he bit his lip - Not cool, Chris hated the cold. Hearing the man's next taunt he grinned a bit. His eye's scanning the ground - it was to cold here, He would be moving in slow motion. "Not cool dude, Not cool..." Now if only he had some awesome super powers like heated vision or maybe even some type of psychic attack... But nope, He had speed. But, He had always wanted to try something out... Now, Most would assume he would race at the man however he didn't - Instead he turned around as quick as he possibly could given the slowness of his speed at this point and ran out of the cold area he had boxed him into - and blurred out of site heading the other way. Now, The question is where the attack would come from. He was honestly thankful that Robin was at a safe distance from their fight as he did not want to risk her getting injured after all, What man would want to harm his girlfriend? Well, besides assholes of course. As he raced though out town and turned around facing the direction he had came from. [[Note: he is on the town's edge pretty much]] Then, increased his running speed to about 700 - nearly breaking the sound barrier, This was the true test of his ability as he ran across town with unsurpassed speed using the building to run up jumping at the very edge as almost unrecognizable by the human eye as he streaked up, his feet coming down sharply right next to the man - this would be his true test as he slowed down alot - however, his speed slowing technique would not even touch him thanks to good ol' Newton's law - Stomping as hard as he could sending cracks and fissures all though out the entire roof's structure as he landed. This attack, was meant to knock the man off his feet as well as just knock him out since the roof was covered with different object's he could fly into from the force of the blast. As the Kid blurred away, Cold put himself on full alert. He went completely silent and even tried to slow his breathing and heartbeat so he could try and listen for the slightest change in the background sound. A whoosh of air or a quiet scrap of shoes against the roof. He'd already experienced how fast this new Speedster could be and he was fairly confident that his cold field would keep him from sneaking up on him with super-speed. Still, there were ways around it and he wasn't sure if his new nemesis was aware of those methods.
He let his ability build up, ready to unleash it if he caught sight of that brightly colored uniform again. His eyes darted around quickly and he tried to get a good view of the area around him. He wet his lips in anticipation and then jerked his head around as he heard a whoosh of air off to the side. He saw a brief blur and afterimage and his eyes trailed up just in time to see the costumed junior hero coming down at him like a meteor. Luckily, it seemed his aim was off to the side and not directly at him but the resulting impact was enough to fling him back from the force.
As Danny traveled through the air he banged his shoulder on an air-conditioning unit or something and practically bounced against the concrete of the roof as he toppled over the ledge. Flinching from the pain in his shoulder he unleashed his ability and shaped it with his mind into a large, crude looking fish-hook which he latched onto the ledge and kept himself from falling. He dangled for just a second before sucking in a tight breath and hoisting himself back over onto the roof.
"Pretty creative, aren't you?" Danny chuckled, grimacing a bit as his shoulder twinged with a spike of pain. He slapped his bare palms flat against the roof-top and flashed his teeth in another feral grin.
"But I've got a few tricks up my sleeve, too." As he spoke, his power pulsed from his hands and out along the surface area around him. Spidery little trails of ice rushed from his fingertips along the floor and traveled out across the roof like a glassy web. As soon as each little trickle of ice met one of the cracks and fissures created by Kid Flash, they suddenly expanded. The cracks were filled with ice and frost built up over every single breach. Danny let the cold contract the structure of them roof for a few seconds and then grinned again. His eyes widened in excitement and he curled his flattened palms into fists. As he did so, his powers reversed and suddenly all the ice lost it's chill. A Most of it evaporated instantly, sending up a huge cloud of fog. The mist itself was distracting but the the true effect was when the cracks in the roof began to expand under the almost instant erosion.
The roof gave out a low, slow groan and suddenly buckled under it's own weight, the stress of the damage too much. The center of Kid Flash's impact was ground zero as it had sustained the most damage, with the rest crumbling outward in what was almost like a sinkhole of a man-made structure.

Everything was happening so quickly. It was much too fast for Robin to follow. She couldn't keep track of it, and she didn't know how this Cold guy was able to stand a chance against Flash. Maybe they really were meant for each other. They had to be. No other person should have been able to stand up to Flash like this. On top of that, Robin felt like a cripple right now.
Before Robin had time to do much, the crashing from Kid Flash having done some kind of speedy attack she hadn't even managed to see occurred, and the S.T.A.R. lab's rooftop was weakened. Following this, Cold did yet another attack to make the rooftop collapse, and this collapsing happened right under Robin's feet.
"Oh crap." With the floor crumbling beneath her, she fell, and she was sure to land one floor beneath where they had previously been standing amidst the debris.

"Pretty creative? I would say so..."
He chuckled himself a bit as the man was clearly injured. As Flash was taking a few steps closer to him, Hearing his next statement he narrowed his eye's - As Flash started seeing the ice form between the cracks his eye's widened a bit. 'Dammit' He thought to himself, he was expecting really for the guy to get knocked out but...this was bad. As the ice vanished instantly and all there was fog. He looked around hearing a very familiar voice - It was Robin, Had she not got out of here while she had the chance? He quickly raised towards the sound of her voice. However, with the speed he was going his foot slammed though the ground as it was falling in slow motion he to was swallowed up by the building and fell though the roof. As the rest of the roof started to bow at the weight of the impending fall. His eye's spotted Emily quickly running to her and slinging her over his shoulder and ran to the floor under that. Mind you, the place was extremely sturdy so flash knew it would be safe to stop here as he dropped her as the crash of the roof meeting the top floor shook the building. "...Jeeze, Everywhere you go seems to fall apart..." He joked a bit to the girl as he shrugged casually. The entire building was in lock down, as shutter's instantly sealed the building and the door's slammed and locked. "....Sooo....any awesome tool's that will....you know, get us out so we can continue to beat that guy's butt?" He flashed a cocky smirk to Emily. [/blockquote][/blockquote]
