I'm putting out a call for some new Rogues. The Rogues were a group of Flash villains that got their name from being dubbed his 'rogues gallery' and embraced it. They're a group of 'blue-collar' supervillains that are in it for fame, fortune and thrills rather than world domination or mass destruction. www.comicvine.com/rogues/65-41466/dc.wikia.com/wiki/The_RoguesBasically I modeled Cold after Captain Cold and think it'd be neat to have another group like this. Villains that believe in 'honor among thieves' and aren't out to conquer the universe. While it'd be cool to have analogs of the original Rogues, honestly I'm not too worried about that or power sets. The real key is to have a group of villains with the right mind-set that hang together and cause trouble for the good guys and maybe hire out their services to the Lex Luthor types. Anyway, just an idea of mine. If it happens to spark any interest or stir any ideas for anybody looking for their next character or a direction for their current one that'd be awesome.

I personally think it'd be great to have some sort of grouped villains, but wouldn't it be better if it were more unique. Like, different name, different powers, everything could be like a fresh start?
Just my thoughts. xD

Well, like I said the names and powers aren't a big deal to me as the concept itself. Going by the Rogues just seemed like a nice tip of the hat as we're set in the DC universe and all. But ultimately it's the idea of a bunch of supervillains that are essentially 'work-buddies' that appeals to me.
Some people that after a long day of criminal activity hang out in some dive and complain about super-heroes and swap war stories and "I almost got'em' yarns over a few cold ones, occasionally getting mixed up in the greater scheme of things and having to bail each other out.
But mostly just tossing the idea out there. Not really dead-set or locked in on anything but figured if it got anybody brainstorming or some ideas flowing that'd be nifty. xD

Well, I had more of a 7-Member group, each member of the group will be codenamed over the seven sins... Yeahhh, pretty dumb idea, but I like it.. xD!
And each sin would be granted to an individual whose personality matches with it.
E.G. a person who wants fame and fortune would be Greed, etc.

The seven deadly sins seem more attributed to Shazzam and Captain Marvel in my opinions. xD

She's got a point. The DC nerd in me associates the seven sins with Shazam and the whole Marvel family thing. xD
We could take the Secret Six route? Six-ish people contacted by an anonymous employer that gives them missions promising big rewards for cooperation and dire punishments for refusal?
Or we could just take the blatant Secret Society of Super-Villains path to things.

Secret Six route sounds great, except who would be the employer. How would he pay us, etc? xDD Or would he just be an NPC that each member would play as whenever he's given a job?
It sounds great though. >:]

In the comics the employer went by the codename Mockingbird and would only appear on a screen as this: It turned out to be Lex Luthor, naturally. Though Amanda Waller eventually took over the role. Also in the comics he promised each member their own continent if the overall plan succeeded and generally threatened to kill off a family member or something similar if they failed or tried to back out. So I guess the rewards could be tailored towards each person individually? Like whatever that person would really, really want?

Sounds good to me. My character just wants riches... He's already famous, in his normal alias. But a continent seems really really good. Though there really isn't much to threaten Alex with, as long as he doesn't know his real identity?

Maybe Alex's threat is more direct? Like maybe the old "we've secretly planted an explosive in your body and if you don't cooperate we blow up your brain?"
Or we could just skip the threat part and just go with the rest. Or maybe some are threatened while others it's not considered necessary?
Our employer could just be an NPC we use that assigns missions/jobs and can always be always secretly be someone else if we decide that'd be fun later. I think Kazai was talking abou making a group form template so dunno if we need to wait on that. But Catgirl'd be welcome to join if you want. xD
