While Robin would have preferred to stay back at the battle scene and help Batman fight Fritz, she decided that it was much more prudent to get Canary to the Batcave where she could administer first aid. Canary was now unconscious on the operating table where Robin had given the girl all that she would need to get into a stabilized condition.
As for now, Robin was on the Batcave's super computer and scanning the city. She was trying to hone in on the current location of Fritz. Her hope was that his suit would give off some kind of odd signal. Unfortunately, Robin was having no such luck.
"Darn... Hmm.." She continued typing.

Canary's eyes fluttered open. Where was she? Why was it so dark? She tried to sit up, only to groan as her chest filled with agony. Damn, it even hurt to speak and breathe. She laid back down. Glancing around, she saw that the gaily-dressed girl who had rescued her- Robin- was typing away at a huge computer. God, was the girl really that small? She was even more of a kid than Anna was! Canary began to feel pissed about the fact that she needed to be rescued by a child. Unfortunately, her ribs were telling her that she wasn't going to be walking out of here anytime soon.
"Where am I?" Canary asked aloud. Then her eyes narrowed. "Hey, you drugged me!" she supposed it made sense if this was Robin's secret lair, but she was still pissed.

"Calm down and relax or I'm going to do it again... with a stronger dosage."
Robin wasn't joking at all. She had thought the first words to come out of the Canary's mouth would be thankful rather than this ungrateful tone of which she was receiving. In any case, Robin didn't take the time to turn away from her work and pay attention to Canary. Instead, she continued fidgeting with her computer in an attempt to find the desired coordinates of which she was looking for.
"I'd do it too," Robin reinforced her point. With the size of a dosage Robin was insinuating, the poor girl would be unconscious long enough that by the time she awoke, her bones would be completely healed and more. Robin wasn't above doing something like that just to keep that girl's mouth quiet.
"I was just trying to help you. Guess I should have left you there with that suit guy."

Canary snorted. "Whatever, Pipsqueak." The kid was getting on her nerves, but she had saved Canary's life. She should probably give the kid some slack because of that, but she narrowed her eyes as Robin reached for the syringe. She didn't relish the idea of fighting a former ally, especially not while she was injured. If she came any closer, though...
Canary grimaced and managed to get to a sitting position this time. She didn't go for standing yet- if she tried Robin might not need to sedate her- she thought she might pass out on her own. "How long was I out for?" she asked. And silently she wondered if the girl had removed her mask. Then again, the girl didn't know her anyway and a domino mask was the most complete disguise in the world.
Canary would have loved to rush the girl, just to prove she was just fine, thank you very much, and to teach her to shove needles in her face. Unfortunately, Robin was right. Still, the kid was getting a bit uppity and probably needed a spanking. She smirked at that. Well, maybe once she felt a bit better she'd take on that task.

"Pffft... No clue..." Robin answered her question rather impatiently. It wasn't really a significant question, and Robin still had yet to look away from the computer. She seemed altogether uninterested in Canary. The girl had struck a wrong nerve on Robin by calling her a pipsquik, especially when she was short and undevelopped enough as it was. Especially since she had taken the marbles out of her bra during the fight and was now rather flatchested.
"Anyway, if you need to go, let me know." Robin told her. She didn't want the girl leaving on her own accord as she didn't want her to know the location of their secret base. A secret identity wouldn't mean much if she knew that the batcave was right beneath the mansion.

Canary really wished she had a watch on her right now. Had she been out for seconds, minutes or hours? Of course, wearing a watch when you were crimefighting wasn't that practical. Way too much of a chance for it to get damaged. Plus, it just seemed unfashionable on a superhero outfit.
"Mmmm. I should get my phone and call my mom." She wasn't letting Robin know too much about her identity by telling her that, was she? She supposed not. "I left my stuff at the scene of the crime."
Oh God. She had been at the scene of the shooting for a field trip. Her mom didn't know what had happened to her. She was probably sick with worry. She wondered how many voice mail messages she'd have on her phone when she checked it.
"I don't suppose you have a phone here somewhere?" Canary asked.
