Impulse raced from Central City, Missouri to Metropolis, New York. Now that she had super speed she would be back in Missouri before her dad would even notice she had left the state, she had done this a thousand times before when she had first acquired her powers. Though there was one thing in particular that she needed to see for a homework report. And this thing was the Superman statue of Centennial Park, it was a famous statue in Metropolis plus heild ties to America's history with super heroes.
Finally reaching the park she increased her pace running around the park looking for the statue till she finally located it. The statue was in gold and Superman was in the pose was the great hero in flight. A small gold mantle was an inscribed message of Superman's name and then a little message about the hero. She read in to herself though the words didn't seem to affect her. She felt awkward her she was in her impulse costume (though it could pass as normal clothing) and could help but wonder if she would end up like the previous heroes. Disappeared and forgotten.

*Bang Bang.... Bang Bang*
Sound's of gunfire could easily be heard in the background as they were quickly silenced. Kid Flash had made sure that they woulden't be robbing any more bank's in the area. It was rather stupid how much work he did to keep the city safe and the criminals just kept right back at it. Tieing them up in mere moments was a cakewalk - They didn't even know what happened. Luckily for him, he didn't need to call the cop's as they were on their trail. "See ya later, remember - Kid Flash say's to stop doing stupid thing's!"
[/color] He grinned, of course the men wanted to strangle him but he vanished without a trace. His path lead him right past the superman statue - Something as a kid he always looked up to wishing it was him now it was. However, skidding to a complete stop at the rather unique and very attrative girl - Looked around his age as well. "Ya'kno - he ain't that tough..."[/color] He said quickly as he 'flashed' a very cocky grin at the girl. "So, What's your name beautiful?"[/color] Saying his trademark to any attrative girl he had met. Blurring out of sight once more as he sat up right on the edge of the memorial. "Ya'know, if it was up to me - There would be a huge statue of you here instead..."[/color] He winked. Everything he said was just pure speed... He didn't wait for responses most of the time. Impulse gave a slight gasp when a boy in a superhero costume came out of nowhere he had superspeed as well which made her smirk at his flirting obviously he seemed a bit cocky to her though then again so was Daniella. She smiled at him and rocked back on her heels hands behind her back in a childish way.
"I like to be called Impulse because I can do this" Impulse explained before running around Kid Flash and the statue about 20 times at a speed so fast all that could be seen was the red blur of her jacket, the blue blur of her jeans then the yellow blue of her running shoes. Finally she stopped and stood in front of the boy a equally cocky smirk on her lips. Thanks to the red sunglasses like goggle she face was covered by a mask substitution.
"What's your name player?" Impulse asked a playful tone in her voice, she had never met anyone with a speed that could rival her own for all she knew she was the only one of her kind save the Flash but he was supposed to have disappeared with the rest of the Superheroes right? Just like superman he was suppose to be gone.

He smirked a bit furhter as he watched her

"The name's Kid Flash, but you can just call me Flash..." He winked a bit seductivly now. This was his type of girl after all... Even her powers showed that. Oooh if only Robin could see them, she would no doubt be jealous as hell. Shaking that thought out of his mind. "Ya'kno, beautiful - I like the costume... It looks good on ya..."[/color] Sitting back a bit further and relaxing. "You can come sit next to The Flash and tell me about yourself..."[/color] He said with a cocky expression now... She liked to showoff her power's as well, and no doubt the face she was giving him now only showed how their personality's matched almost perfectly. [/blockquote][/blockquote] |

Impulse raised an eyebrow underneath her sunglasses this had not been the reaction she was hoping for but then again he did seem a lot like her, plus his name was Kid Flash that was a type of hero she had read about when she was researching about heroes of the past who had these same powers. With a shrug she sat down next to him though chose to ignore his flirty comments, though she secretly enjoyed them she didn't get much attention back home in central city with her dad always working and all.
"Please I bet I could beat you in a race" Impulse challenged with a smile leaving the threat in the air. Though she did want to know a little more about the boy sitting next to her, he seemed to be around her age.
" Are you like a side kick or something cause you seem a little young to be a hero by yourself" Impulse asked honestly curious though her comment was a little hypocritical, she was around his age and was a hero all on her own. A rookie hero but she still considered herself a hero non the less whether she was fifteen years of age or not.

He grinned a bit as she sat down next to him. Looking over at her, hearing her claim she could beat him in a race... He softly laughed. "...Obviously, You've never seen me in action..."

[/color]He said quite seductivly, clearly being an Innuendo of sort's. His mind thinking over her little race bet... part of him wanted to prove to her how fast he was but sometime's you just gotta let stuff slide. [/blockquote][/blockquote] |

Impulse blushed at his comment there was an innuedo there that she picked up when he called her his little impulse then she smirked when her blush started to subside. She wondered if he flirted with every girl he met this way or was this just her lucky day or something.
"It's tempting Flash it really is, but I'm more of a lone wolf if you catch my drift but keep your offer open for me will you? Impulse replied with the same innuedo he was using, what harm would there be in flirting back she wasn't seeing anyone and it wasn't like a date would come out of this whole ordeal she really doubted that.

He smirked noticing the girl blushing, obviously she liked the flirting - once more proving that she was just like him in that way. "For you, Anything my Beautiful Impulse..."
[/color] He bowed his head very casually. Jumping down to the ground and offering his hand to help her down. "Ya'kno... I could grab a bite to eat, what about you?"[/color] He smiled, He actually partly wondered if her metabolism worked like his's in hyperdrive - Perhap's being female with the same power might have different effect's...or... maybe some other event involved with the power transfer process... The odd's of meeting another speedster however was pretty much Zip. You would have better chances winning the lottery over a million time's in a row.... maybe a bit of an over statement but he didn't feel like doing math at the moment. Impulse blinked rapidly behind her glasses confused at Kid Flash's offer. Was he just asking her out right now? technically it wasn't seeing how they just met so she decided to take it as a friendly gesture between speedsters since they were so rare. But this didn't cease the nervousness from swishing around in her stomache.
"Sure...I'm starving actually" Impulse said thinking about her stomach. She needed to eat alot now a days since she started using her super speed more often, so that means she needed to constantly be fueled up a weird side effect to the super powers she guessed. The less she ate the less energy she would have to run in super speed.

Impulse's face turned cherry red and only got a shade lighter though Kid Flash explained that he meant with out costumes and in normal clothes she guessed that could work though her costume was already pretty close to a normal outfit though she carried a change of clothes with her in case she needed to change to get some things in Metropolis. She dropped her bag in a tree not far from the statue.
"Yeah changing sounds good I'll be back in a flash!" she said smiling at her own choice of words before running the the tree.
Inside her bag was her red and black leathermen jacket, red tank top, jeans, her red and black studded belt and her red converse. She ran in a circle making a speedy cyclone and stopped having changed into the new outfit the persona of Impulse trapped in her bag then she ran back to the statue to meet Kid Flash.
"Present"
