So the helmet of Dr. Fate has been stolen and pretty much up for grabs at this point? How could he ever refuse to take the opportunity to get it for himself? Well, he couldn't, that's what. Of course, it didn't take him much time to get mobilized and get on the scene. Hell, he was pretty much embedded into the police department's computer systems at all times. Whenever he needed information it was there for the taking without bothering so much as a security system.
The armored teen stood there at a rather different height than his normal self, somewhere around five foot ten inches, rather than his unimposing five foot four self. Being a master of machines had its advantages after all. He tossed a bored gaze around the general vicinity as he stood at the center of a ring of incapacitated police officers. None were a match for his armor, though he hadn't killed any of them.
"Where is this damn helmet?" His voice was scrambled, sounding more machine than man. Biologically speaking, that wasn't exactly true but wasn't too far off either.
What was his reason for wanting the helmet? A bit more interesting than anyone else's reasoning. For one, it wasn't for the power or the fame. For now he'd keep his reasoning to himself, though he could tell by the various heat signatures nearby that many people would question him.

It had been a normal day for Solo... Well normalish. It was normal in the sense that he had destroyed a small village, and wiped out a few thousand people. It was a good day for him, and it only got better. While he had been roaming around he had heard whispers, rumors of sorts, that a powerful magical artifact had been lost some where near him. A grin had come over his face as soon as he had heard the news, and he quickly took off in the direction of the forest that this artifact was said to be in. Undoubtedly though he knew that others would be looking for it. So he would have to first eliminate all of his competition. Walking through the woods he could tell that others were in here, how many he didn't know.
With his giant bustersword strapped to his back he continued to wander around the forest trying to find the artifact. If he so happened upon someone else then he would kill them, and continue on his search. His golden blonde hair shining in the stray patches of sun that broke through the canopy of the tree's. His golden eyes in their liquid topaz state as he continued to walk around. He didn't really care about anyone else besides himself. Good, or Evil if they got in his way they would all die the same way. Grinning at the thought of causing more mayhem, his thoughts were interrupted by a voice that sounded like a machine.
Walking towards the sound of the voice he saw a boy it looked like in a suit of armor walking around. He was looking for the Artifact as well, and Solo didn't do too well with competition. His liquid topaz eyes turning into a solid amber color. Grinning at the other man he wondered if he had heard of him, or not. Not really caring either way his reaction would be the same as he would have to get rid of the boy. Smiling a cruel smile that seemed to make the air around him chill. "So your looking for the artifact as well?" Solo asked the boy with a very menacing tone.

Daedalus wasn't clueless or caught off guard when it came to this man's seemingly sudden appearance. His sensors caught a whiff of him some time ago, constantly tracking his heat source as he approached until he was upon him. Maybe this would concern the average human being or rather someone who was easily intimidated, but not for Daedalus. The machine man looked over at the tall blond, casting him a rather bored gaze. However, being that he was within a suit of armor and had a helmet on, his emotions couldn't exactly be read from behind a visor.
"Dr. Fate's helmet...yes that's correct." Daedalus turned his entire body so that he could face the man, being as they were now engaged in some sort of conversation. "However, I do not desire its power. Only its knowledge. The do-gooders can keep it once learn all there is to know." Yes, that's what he wanted...knowledge. Not the boring things such as how the universe was created or why everything is the way it is but rather everything. Absolutely everything. Power, weapons, killing, the constant bouts between good and evil meant nothing to him at this point. He was honestly only interested in the advancement of humankind, to bring it to the next level.
"What do wish to do with it? Lay waste to the world? Kill your enemies? Eradicate every living thing that stands in your path?" He spoke in a tone as if he was leading up to something, maybe...possibly...a deal.

Solo listened to the other man speak to him beneath his mask, and his voice sounded more machine than man. It intrigued him, but not to such a point that he would take mercy on the other guy. However his curiosity arose when the man spoke of what he wanted with the artifact. Hmmmmm Dr. Fates helmet oh this is even better than I thought. With that kind of power I would be nearly unstoppable. Intriguing.. he thought to himself as the man continued to speak about how he wanted the knowledge, and would give it to the good guys once he was done. Solo really didn't want to let that happen because they wouldn't even use it. No he had to have it.
Then the man spoke of what he wanted with it, and this only made Solo grin wider than he already was. "Well you see I don't really need it's power to do all those things. I am strong enough on my own. However that Helmet would be very beneficial to me in certain plans that I am going to be enacting very soon. Plus the untold power would make it so that I would never have to fight another person again. I mean with that kind of power chaos would be everywhere. However you want to let it fall into the hands of the good guys, and well I just can't let that happen." Solo said with a sadistic glee in his voice, and eyes.
Grinning wildly, and with the look of a man about to go on a rampage in his face he held out his hands, and allowed an orb of white energy to encompass his hand. He could blast the man into oblivion, and then go on his merry way, but he didn't fire it off. Grinning at the other guy he kept his bolt of energy around his hand. "You see I am wondering what your game is. If it intrigues me I will let you live...longer, but if I don't like it then I am afraid your gonna have to die." he said the demonic glee still in his system.

After listening to this man, he figured that he was nothing more than another stereotypical super villain who didn't have half a bran nor any ideas beyond being the strongest or the ruler of something. To be honest, Daedalus didn't give one damn what his intentions were. Though it brought a smirk to his face when his suspicions were indeed correct. Of course, where in this life he lead would he be expecting some sort of level of intelligence and vision? Although he may not have anything as crazy in mind, Daedalus wanted to be known as the man who changed the world and revolutionized everything. Once he knew every last piece of information in the universe, then he could truly do that.
Then again, it wasn't guaranteed that Dr. Fate's helmet offered that kind supreme knowledge, but he could only speculate about that particular fact. "To be honest, I could care less who's hands they fall into or what it's ultimately used for. Once I get my information, my hands will be wiped clean of guilt or blame once you have it."
As for his threat, it went unheard for the most part. He could threaten all he wanted but it really wouldn't do much as far as intimidating Daedalus. Whatever this man's abilities are, he sure was confident enough in them. Though he wasn't going to be on edge until they were turned his way. In other words, he kept his poker face on and simply proceeded as if he didn't give a damn...which he didn't. "There is no game. I think I was pretty cut and dry for the most part. Not like you have anything to lose by joining forces for a short while, since you're stronger than I am. But we have everything to gain. Two is better than one...." The sarcasm in his voice probably couldn't have been discerned do to the scrambled voice, though he definitely was being sarcastic when he mentioned the man's strength. Hell, what did this guy have to prove to him? That he could crush a beer can with his forehead? What a jackass. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Solo listened to the other guy talk, and his reasoning for why he was doing the things that he was doing. Still holding up the energy blast he just tilted his head to the side, and allowed the other to finish speaking. Once he was done you could almost see his eyes glow red, but not with acceptance the guy hadn't told him what he wanted to hear. Wagging his free finger that wasn't surrounded with energy a wicked smile came across his lips. "So let me get this straight? You want to team up with me so you can gain logic, and knowledge. However how does that benefit me? The answer to this question is it doesn't. So I am gonna have to kill you.." he said to the man with crazed look on his face.
Aiming his hand towards the armored man he let loose the bolt of energy that had been building up in his hands. He hoped that it would cause some severe harm to him, and maybe just maybe knock him out for the count. However that was probably unlikely, but he could still hope for it. Even a demon could dream. That bolt if it missed would create a nice sized crater in the ground, or blow apart some of the forest. Either way it would cause damage to something, or someone. Hopefully it was the someone because he would prefer to not draw attention to the two of them. This was a mono e mono battle, and he wanted it to stay that way.
While he was more than sure that he could hold his own against multiple enemies even he had his limits. Though he hated to admit it, but it was true knowing one's limits was better than thinking that you were all powerful. Well he was kind of all powerful, but only to an extent. "I hope you enjoyed your life because it will end today." he spoke to the man with a cruel, and sadistic voice.

Daedalus simply sighed at the man's sudden and rather illogical change of heart. He figured that he was stupid but obviously he didn't see the benefits of teaming up and combining their efforts. Besides, he was actually offering something worth while. A great amount of heat was building up within the palm of the man's hand as he spoke, his sensors relaying that crucial information back to him. Although he couldn't quite predict the man's actions, raising up his proton shield with a simple flick of the wrist certainly did him some good. It blocked the majority of the attack's power, though the force from that close of a range sent the hulk of metal sliding backward. However, it should be noted that he was able to easily stay standing.
The blue lights of his helmet's visors shined through the smoke of the aftermath, Daedalus' gaze fixed upon his attacker. "You say I bring nothing to the table, yet I may be the only one who can track the helmet's location quicker than anyone else. What if someone gets to it first? Have you not thought that through? Hm, whatever your overall goal you wish to achieve once you gain possession of the helmet obviously isn't as planned out as you may think."
He thought about things for a brief moment before simply giving up. Some people weren't well...tactical enough to be super villains. Being a villain or criminal was easy enough, but it took a certain nature to be a super villain. For one, it took vision, something this fool didn't have. "Why even waste my breath?" He sighed once more, turning his back to the man as he began to walk away, ignoring the man's continuing threats and idle chatter. There were just more important matters at hand than dealing with an egomaniac with a brain the size of a peanut.

The man said that he was wasting his breath, and he was now turning his back to Solo, and starting to walk away. No one walked away from Solo Rose, and he was going to make sure that this guy was no different. Who did he think he was anyways Solo was the top dog, and no one would ever turn their backs to him. Holding up his hand he let out another maniacal laugh as the white energy formed around his hand. He was going to blast this guy into small bit's, and watch as his body turned into ash before his eyes. The thought of such a thing infuriated him beyond belief, and he finally broke the barrier between reality, and unreality in his mind.
He was quiet literally losing his grip on the norm of the world, and the idea's that were normally suppressed by his ego in his mind were blown open, and filling his mind up like water. His grip on reality gone he let out the most maniacal laugh that he had ever had before, and he shot the energy from his hands. It was a self perpetuating beam that was pulsing through the air, and he hoping that it crashed right into the man. Solo wanted to blow a hole in this man, and send him on his way packing. It wouldn't do him any good to just let him leave.
He had quiet literally reached a new level of psychotic, and well it wasn't the first time that he had been angered this badly. However it was the first time that he had someone around to beat up while he had been this angry. "No one turns their back to me!" he bellowed out in an angry psychotic rage towards the man in armor. "I am Solo Rose! The greatest now you must DIE!" he shouted at the top of his lungs, and continued to attack with his energy.
