New York City. From what she had heard, it was quite the busy place. At least, from what the human upon the glass box said to her from behind a window. Perhaps it would be here that she found Princess Koriand'r. With so many humans, she was most likely to stand out among them. Tamrad'r knew this from first hand experience. After all, walking down a street had never gotten her more attention, than it had had now.
Thankfully, she had managed to find a safe place next to the large green woman on the sea to discard of her armor. Though after wearing it for so long, she had forgotten just how light she was. Walking in the crowded streets, she found that a small amount of space was given to her especially. It allowed more people to look at her, making her all the more uncomfortable. Running one hand gently through her hair, she managed to squeeze herself through the door of a structure, only to find more eyes upon her.
Cloths of different shades and colors surrounded her, one more dazzling than the next. But as she prepared to walk back out into the public, she noticed a magazine, old and torn around the edges. Yet the face upon the cover was what make her gasp. Was it really her? Dressed in only small undergarments and laying upon a towel? Truly this wasn't the Princess she had heard so much about...was it?
Opening up the book of flat paper, she flipped through the papers rapidly, trying to find out the name of this person. Though as it came up as Kory, she still found herself believing in her first assumption. Had she subjected herself to such treatment? Was she not a warrior? A hero?
Before she could look further, the magazine was snatched from her hands by an older woman. Then she was scolded for looking upon such pictures and for also being dressed in such a way. Looking at her clothing, which was really the outfit similar to that worn of the Princess when she was her age, Tamrad'r simply blinked and walked out the door and back into the noisy streets.
"She is a servant?......To the humans? That can not be so?"
Flying up into the sky, she took herself up onto a rooftop, sighing as she sat upon its edge. Despite this, she still had to find her. Perhaps this letter would cause her to remember her purpose. Reaching into her chest to retrieve the note from within her clothing, she just stared upon the scroll and wondered just what it said. A year carrying it and not once had she opened it to read for herself. After all, it was her mother that told her not to. Yet now, she found herself more curious than ever. Tempted as she was, she soon placed the scroll down beside her, wrapping her arms around her chest as she sat.
